About advertising on TVU:

TVU Networks has created a global live TV network on the Internet with an installed base of over 25 million viewers.  This network shows video ads as pre-rolls or as in-content; in the latter case, the ads replace the ads that were originally present in the broadcast.  Because the video ads are at the center of the viewer’s attention, viewers typically interact more with the ads than they would in a typical website placement.

The TVU network can be viewed on the TVU website at www.tvunetworks.com, or via the downloadable TVUPlayer application.

Advertising submission guidelines: 

Ad content: should be family-friendly
Ad length: 15 or 30 seconds preferred; 10-30 seconds is acceptable
Ad file format: WMV, FLV, JPEG, and GIF
Ad bitrate: 2mbps recommended for submissions (ads will typically be broadcast at 400kbps)
Ad resolution: 640x480 recommended
Ad aspect ratio: 4:3 or 16:9
